Adele, the powerhouse British songstress, has sent shockwaves through the music industry yet again with the announcement of two final concerts to her much-anticipated German residency. The decision comes hot on the heels of an astonishing 2.2 million fans registering for tickets, catapulting the total number of shows to a staggering ten.
In response to what can only be described as “unprecedented demand,” Adele will grace the stage at the 80,000-capacity pop-up stadium located at Munich Messe exhibition centre. The additional dates are scheduled for August 2-3, 9-10, 14, 16, 23-24, and now, the newly confirmed August 30-31.
This European extravaganza, exclusively promoted by Live Nation, marks Adele’s triumphant return to mainland Europe for the first time since 2016. The excitement surrounding the residency is palpable, as fans eagerly anticipate experiencing Adele’s unparalleled talent in person.
The news comes amidst Adele’s ongoing 100-night residency titled “Weekends with Adele” at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, set to conclude this June. Apart from her Vegas stint, Adele’s live performances have been scarce since the release of her critically acclaimed album “30” in 2021, with only a handful of appearances, including two nights at the illustrious BST Hyde Park in London back in July 2022.
